Undean Ruppe
Gaffney, SC - - Undean Vickers Ruppe, 88, formerly of 646 Buck Shoals Road, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at White Oak North Grove in Spartanburg.
Born in Cowpens, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence McKinley Vickers and Julia Ann Michaels Vickers and the widow of the late Solon Martin Ruppe. She was the fourth of four very special girls, Helen V. Martin, Frances V. Littlejohn, and Evelyn V. McGinnis, all deceased. She was retired from Reeves Brothers in Chesnee as a cloth inspector and was a member of Cherokee Creek Baptist Church. She loved taking care of her family and cooking for and helping others.
Her surviving family members are a daughter, Vicki R. Wood (Tim); two sons, Rick “Crack” Ruppe (Tracy) and Tim M. Ruppe (Tammy), all of Gaffney; five grandchildren, Kristi W. Harvey (Russ), Blake Wood, Ashley R. Sprouse (Michael), all of Gaffney, Adam Ruppe of Atlanta and Cayci Brooke Ruppe of Moore. She was blessed with six special great-grandchildren, Emily and Luke Harvey, Tyson and Drew Wood, and Sara Kay and Will Sprouse. She had many special nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Cherokee Creek Baptist Church on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 3:30 PM with Reverend Mike Frazier and Reverend Daryle Hawthorne officiating. Interment will be in Cherokee Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery. The family asks that you please wear masks and practice social distancing.
