Bachelor’s Degree Completion Programs
Boston University’s Metropolitan College bachelor’s degree completion programs are designed for part-time evening coursework with options for on-campus and online study. To be eligible, applicants must have both:
- Graduated high school (or received a GED equivalent)
- Completed the equivalent of six or more courses (including English Composition) at a regionally accredited college or university.
MET reviews candidates for acceptance to our part-time evening and online bachelor’s programs on an ongoing basis. Admission is normally granted for September, January, and May of each year, with additional starts in October, March, and July for our online program.

Bachelor’s Degree Completion Application Requirements
- Official transcripts from high school or GED
- Official transcript(s) from each college attended
- A nonrefundable $80 application fee
- US Citizens and permanent US residents may qualify for an application fee waiver. For more information, contact Kevin Ahearn at kahearn@bu.edu.
Please note:
- SAT/ACT exams are not required.
- Metropolitan College does not issue visas to international students for full-time on-campus study in undergraduate programs (degree or non-degree).
