Brooke Burke marries David Charvet

(CBS) Brooke Burke and David Charvet are now husband and wife.

The "Dancing with the Stars" co-host and the former "Baywatch" actor tied the knot in St. Barts on Friday.

Burke shared the news in a series of Twitter posts. "sending my 1st good morning tweet as Mrs. Charvet...Its true, we finally did it with love and certainty. OMG, I am a married woman!!!"

"my wedding still feels surreal . kIds are on the beach playing football, I'm finally alone to soak it all in......whhhhew" she added. "Fate smiled at destiny and we were married at sea."

Her rep also confirmed the happy news.

The couple are parents to daughter Rain, 4, and son Shaya, 3. Burke also has daughters Neriah, 11, and Sierra, 9, from her marriage to "Extreme Makeover" plastic surgeon Garth Fisher.

Burke and Charvet, both 39, have been engaged since August 2006.
