Ressence presents the new TYPE 1° Round, with a remarkably balanced design. We’re pushing the boundaries of 21st-century watchmaking by rethinking our relationship with watches. Beyond their obvious functionality, watches create an emotional bond with their wearer. The TYPE 1° Round perpetuates Ressence’s minimalist representation of time, with its rotating discs displaying the time in a two-dimensional way and an ergonomic design.

A round design for a pure expression of time. We reaffirm the beauty of simple, essential and sensual forms. The sapphire crystal harmoniously hugs the case with a minimalist curve of great purity. Inspired by the emblematic pebble-shaped design of the TYPE 3, the elegant design of the TYPE 1 integrates the ROCS 1 module. The result is a watch with an extremely satisfying feel, adaptable to all wrists and styles, a true everyday companion.

Night Blue: a new color for a renewed design. The darker, more saturated Night Blue accentuates the depth of the TYPE 1° Round dial. The encircling effect of the metallic discs creates spectacular reflections as the hours pass.
Refined dial design: the TYPE 1° Round dial boasts a simplified aesthetic with hour markers every 10 minutes and a day-of-week dial that subtly integrates the two days of the weekend with a touch of color. The seconds and weekday hands are enlarged for improved legibility.
Intuitive simplicity: like all Ressence watches, setting the time simultaneously winds the mechanism, like setting the hands on an old-fashioned clock. The absence of a crown ensures a comfortable fit on the wrist, whether you’re left- or right-handed.
