McKayla Maroney, a former Olympic gymnast who competed in the 2012 London Games, has lately become the center of a few social-media controversies. Last year, she denied getting lip injections, later, she had to fight back after fans complained she’d “changed,” and now, she’s defending herself after posting a revealing video online.

On Sunday, Maroney, now 21, posted a short Instagram clip of her wearing a thong, showing off in front of the camera.

Maroney posted a response to fans' uproar on Instagram, saying, “I didn’t get hacked. Unfollow if you need to. All love.”

She clarified further on Twitter, saying she has no regrets and doesn’t care what people think:

Maroney, who is now working on a music career, now says she bristled at the squeaky-clean standards of gymnastics. “They wanted me to be America’s sweetheart,” she told Seventeen.com last year. “And I think I’ve never fit into that cookie cutter person.”

And if you’re taking time out of your day to shame her on Instagram? Well, let’s just say she’s not impressed.
