If there's anything we want to rumble with, it's absolutely going to be a crumble. With a crumbly (duh), crunchy, buttery topping (and no crust to stress about), crumbles are one of the most delicious ways to make use of all your favorite seasonal fruits. Especially if you, like us, tend to load up on too many apples, peaches, or berries at the farmers' market, you'll definitely want to turn to these 10 easy crumble recipes to really make them shine. Just add a scoop of ice cream and dessert is served!

In terms of all the Three C's (crisps, cobblers, and crumbles), crumbles really are at the top of the list for Team Delish. What's the difference, you might be wondering? While cobblers, crisps, and crumbles are all baked fruit desserts (all with no fussy pie crusts), they have a few differences. A cobbler is topped with pillowy biscuits, which are dropped on top of the fruit filling (check out our blueberry cobbler if that’s more your speed). Crisps and crumbles both have toppings similar to streusel, but crisps usually contain oats, while crumbles do not. Craving an oat-y topping? Our peach crisp will scratch that itch.

Where crumbles really take the top spot for us is how many options you have for adding tons of texture to your topping. Butter, flour, and sugar are just the beginning; we like to mix in tons of intrigue with seeds and nuts (like sunflower seeds, walnuts, sesame seeds, and slivered almonds), like our blueberry crumble and apple crumble recipes. If you still can't get enough crumbly topping, feel free to add it to any dessert you like. We shamelessly had to add some to our apple crumble pie, and we know you'll understand why!

Ever wish you had a tiny pie all for yourself? These mini pies are just the thing. We used tayberries in this pie, which are a blackberry/raspberry hybrid. They have a very limited season and you probably won't see them anywhere but a farmers' market. Replace with any kind of berry you'd like, but blackberries will give the most similar flavor!

Strawberry-Almond Crumble Pie

Baked fruit crumbles (which use fewer ingredients than a standard piecrust dough) first appeared in England during WWII as a result of common baking ingredients, such as butter and flour, being in short supply. When mixing a crumble, first be sure the butter is fully incorporated into the dry ingredients. Then, use your hands to create different size clumps, from pea to quarter. And don’t forget to chill the crumble before layering it on your filling. This gives the gluten time to rest and allows the butter to solidify, ensuring a tender and delicious topping.

Grilled desserts certainly don't stop with marshmallows. If you're looking for something a little more fruit-forward, and a little more grown-up, consider making a pear crumble. Instead of trying to cook it all in a giant cast-iron pan, we've divvied it up into individual portions and put it in a muffin tin.

This rustic spring dessert is as delicious as any pie, but it comes together much more easily since you don’t have to worry about making a crust. If you don’t have three small cast-iron skillets, you can try baking them in 3 shallow casseroles instead, but your timing might be different so watch them carefully.
