Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is one of the richest people in the world, and on The Ellen DeGeneres show, he revealed a little bit about what having all that money is like for him. He competed in a game show to guess the prices of groceries — and he failed miserably. And then, he opened up to DeGeneres about what it's actually like to be a billionaire. And it involves a trampoline room.

Gates said he doesn't have too many extravagances in his life, but he does have a Porsche and his own plane, admittedly "a huge indulgence." But DeGeneres pressed him, asking if he had an "aquarium with sharks in it." He doesn't have that, but he said he does have a room dedicated to trampolines in his house. "We have a trampoline room in our house, the kids like that," he said. "Indoor trampolines, I recommend it. […] It's a room with a very high ceiling."

According to U.S. News and World Report, Gates' home in Medina, Washington, has been called Xanadu 2.0. The trampoline room has a 20-foot ceiling, and overall the exercise facilities, including locker rooms, a sauna, and a steam room, take up 2,500 square feet. Business Insider reports that it took Gates $63 million and seven years to build the 66,000-square-foot estate.

Of course, Bill and Melinda Gates put the vast majority of their own money into their charitable foundation, helping people around the world. But hey, when you have billions of dollars, why not have a room dedicated to trampolines, too?
