Description

3 large post holes excavated whilst scraping the area for the carpark. Possibly Mesolithic.

Three large postholes (approx 2m diam x 1.5m deep) found during the extension of the carpark at Stonehenge. Clear post pipes were visible. C14 7180bc+/-180 and 6140bc+/-140 suggests a Mesolithic date.
