“I cannot remember a time that I was not interested in rocks,” Vallarian said. “I love a pile of gravel; there are so many treasures in what most would see as ‘just rocks.’ Beautiful druze, fossil shell imprints, petrified wood pieces, agates, rocks that look like funny faces – it is all there by looking at gravel.”
