    Clear sound

    These are ideal computer speakers if you want something which isn't too gigantic, doesn't use a separate woofer cabinet and has clean and even sound from highs to upper lows. The key seems to be the tweeter in each cabinet which fills in the highs nicely. Now, you have to have realistic expectations about bass. The aprox 2" cone driver is not going to give you pumping lows because the laws of physics won't allow it. However, what you do get with these speakers is certainly acceptable for most desktop use.

    Giga Works T20 is giga average

    I expected from reading other reviews that the soud quality would be realy good( I was hoping for great). After listening to them for a few days.... they sounded realy average compared to the older cheaper models (Logitech & Altec Lansing) i have.

    The best computer speakers under $100.

    This is a hefty little pair of speakers; you can feel they're solid just lifting them. They sit about the same height as the speakers that come with your desktop computer, but they deliver a lot bigger sound. It's the little touches that count. For example, using cloth in the tweeter and glass fiber in the midrange driver instead of the usual paper that most speakers are made of; the speakers won't start wearing down after a few years of weather and humidity. Now with all that said, you don't exactly get thumping bass out of them. You get a good range of sound, but there's no magic subwoofer replacement inside. What you get: Two speakers, each with a tweeter and midrange driver built in and an opening to funnel out the deeper frequencies resonating inside the ...

    GigaWorks MF1545T20 2 Speaker Set

    The Creative GigaWorks MF1545T20 2 speakers are an excellent all around computer speaker set. The cabinet design has a small enough footprint to be compatible with any desktop or laptop. The sound quality is very good and has excellent bass response for such a small enclosure. A sub woofer does add to the mix for that lower bass response but they sound very good by themselves. The separate bass and treble controls are a real plus. They would be a great addition to any music player or TV set that needs a boost in the sound quality department. I certainly agree with the many positive reviews that the MF 2 has received.

    Very Good Small Spekers

    I was looking for some small speakers for my computer because I had very limited desk space and these came up as a good deal on eBay for $60, so I bought them. For a 2-piece system they sound quite good. Decent (adjustable) bass for their size and adjustable tone controls also help with getting the sound you'd like. Note that these speakers do NOT include a subwoofer. A subwoofer will usually give you deeper bass notes, but you have to have room for it. These Creative T20's were very easy to install and give a good bang for the buck.
