Origin

The dorsal digital veins of the foot arise from a venous plexus in the dorsal aspect of the toes.

Course

The dorsal digital veins of the foot extend towards the clefts of the toes, where they receive perforating veins from the plantar digit veins. They continue as the dorsal metatarsal veins in the intermetatarsal spaces of the foot.

Tributaries

The dorsal digital veins of the foot receive ramifications from the plantar digital veins.

Structures Drained

The dorsal digital veins of the foot drain blood from the dorsal surfaces of the toes.
