SU3406 : Beaulieu Road Station

taken 9 years ago, 4 km SSE of Ashurst, Hampshire, England

Beaulieu Road Station
Beaulieu Road Station
This station first opened on 1st June 1847, as part of the Southampton & Dorchester Railway. After 1923 it was operated by the Southern Railway, later the Southern Region of British Railways. Now a South West Trains station, it is unstaffed, and sees only two or three trains stop each day, Monday to Friday. Strangely, there is a more frequent service at the weekends.
