REVIEW :

I like the concept of time travel so this was a good read for me even though sometimes I got a bit confused and was wondering what the hell was happening.

I liked the characters, especially Nathan. I would've loved to know more about him. So I wouldn't mind getting another book about his adventure.

I don't know what to say about Dr Scott, I didn't feel any depth of character to be honest. I also felt like the events were a bit rushed.

So if you want a book about time travel, machines, and one that you can finish in one setting this book is for you.

ARC Book Review ✨️

The following is L.D Boston's thriller debut, a genre I'm used to watch on TV but rarely had the opportunity to get in paper.

Honestly when I got the book I thought it would be a time machine story with some John Wick poser. Surprisingly the main character is such an intriguing sorry excuse of a man that you just can't stop reading it.

The plot is fast paced, the writing triggers your imagination, the conversation flow feels ordinary and there is a found family, morally grey characters touch to it which I love.

I recommend it if you liked Dark Matter but felt like it could've been less of a headache.

Scientists, time travel, USA, Russia, guns, genetically modified soldiers, I don't think you need more infos to read run and get this book
The author gave us the most well written debut novel a thrilling sci-fi following the story of Dr Scott facing the consequences of his researchers and invention travelling around the world and around history trying to save the world.
I loved this book so many events happened it was never boring the last chapters were insane and nothing was ever predictable.
The characters didn't disappoint even though the events were hectic the characters had intriguing stories that will keep you hooked all through the book (Nathan was a 10)
I cried on the last page of the last chapter and now that I finished the book I miss dr scott and Nathan so much

I'm not a big fan of science fiction/action/thriller novels, so I've been in and out of it just to keep track of what's going on and how things work in this particular genre.
I won't say that it was boring, actually it was more like watching a movie and I was on the edge of my seat all the time to see what happens next.
I'm glad I've read a book that is out of my comfort zone and happy that it was better than I expected.

PS: don't trust anyone in this book LOL

We follow the story of Dr.Scott, a researcher, who tries along with his companions to undo his/their past deeds by going back in time.
- Though confusing as it is, a time travel novel will immediately get listed under my favourites. What can I say! I like a messy confusing book.
- The plot is PACKED with events. you don't get the chance to fully understand that you find yourself with a new thing going on. Which means, it's a hell of a ride. You won't get bored at all.
- Almost every chapter ends with a cliffhanger which makes it a very enjoyable read that keep you engaged till the last page. And that's something some authors miss to put in their books.
- The characters were great. They ain't dull nor boring and you easily get attached to them - except for Dr. Scott - and wanting to know about.
- The only thing that I consider as a con at this point is that The Juncture fails to have an actual character development nor does the 3rd person pov allow to explore them

Overall, The Juncture, though it has Russian names which made it difficult for me to keep track on who's who, is an enjoyable read. So, if you're into sci-fi, dystopian and action based novels that you can read in one sitting, this book is for you.

Through the juncture, we follow the path of Dr Scott, a researcher who tries his best to undo the consequence of his part actions, and there is no better way to change the past than going back to it.
so we embark on a journey of time travel as we follow our protagonist and his friends to try and undo what has been done. whether they succeed or not, only the reader can find out.

The plot is heavily packed with events, the reader moves back and forth from place to place, moment to moment, there are time stamps that help keep track of it but it also sets up a tone of urgency and chronology as we read. It is an enjoyable read with a great storytelling that keeps you engaged quite easily. the pacing is medium and there is enough thrill with many chapters ending on cliffhangers which makes you turn to the next page instantly.

The characters are curious with different but close backgrounds and missions to accomplish, however what the novel fails to deliver is character development. Although major events do happen throughout the book, which create crucial changes, the character doesn't seem to change much, and the way the 3rd person point of view is used doesn't allow and in depth exploration of the characters or the protagonist. in addition there is a lack of diversity in characters, very few female characters in the story.

For readers who enjoy Sci-fiction, dystopian and action based novels with plot development, you are mostly definitely well served by this novel and it will deliver an incredible story.
