They break rules. It’s what they do.
A prank. A game. That’s all I am to them.
But he looks at me differently, with eyes that burn into my very soul.
Off limits. Forbidden. Ten years younger but no more innocent than I am.
He looks at me like he already owns me.

She’s the ultimate challenge—who’ll be the first to break her?
The new teacher at Reynard’s elite Boarding School for Boys
needs to become a willing slave or she’s gone.
Like fuck, if I’ll tolerate anything less.
She’ll come to heel. Even if I have to make her.

But he’s a drug. A twisted distraction that threatens to ruin everything I’ve built.

But with each taste of her, I need more. With each breath, I’m falling f*cking hard.

I need to hurt him before he ends me.

I need to end her, before she takes my heart and carves it out of my chest for all to see.

We were never meant to be together.

But now look.

It’s too late.

I really liked this one.
It was a fresh breath from all age gap stories.
Why it should be always the man with ten or more years older? It could be super hot when it's the opposite. This one proves it.
Bella met Romain in a bar, she knows he's younger than she's, but that didn't matter because the chemistry between them was so intense.
Then something happens and Bella leaves Romain.
She's nowhere to be found.
Then, a few years later, they meet again.
And now Bella is a teacher in Romain's school...
descriptiondescription
Romain couldn't forgive her for leaving him, so he, with his friends start bullying her.
Bella has secrets, and if Romain know what happened when they were together it could be the end for them.
description
It's sweet, dark, intense, hot. It was too short, I want more of Bella and Romain!!!
So many things left unknown. Too rush ending...

In age gap books with an older woman/younger guy, that only works if the guy seems mature – and in this one, he’s a wildly immature little brat.

Also, in this story, the hero and heroine meet, have a semi-anonymous hookup that’s supposedly GREAT, then they go their separate ways, and meet again years later. I’ve read many books where this happens, and it's a common trope in teacher/student books. But this is the only one I’ve seen where their initial hook-up is fade to black, and we don’t see it in-scene. This is one of the most baffling writing choices I’ve ever seen. Because supposedly, these characters have intense chemistry. But we’re just TOLD that, we don’t see it. I’m honestly shocked that nobody on this author’s editing or beta reading team made this 1 simple common sense suggestion to her.

**Maybe a spoiler or two?**

This was okay. There were things I really liked about it like, both MCs. I wanted the best for them both. The naughty times were hot. The story itself was good. However, I wanted to know more of their time from the prologue. We, the readers, are simply told of their month together where they spent a lot of time together and not just having sex. They basically fall in love during this time but we don't get to experience it, were just supposed to know it. Then at about 96%, where things aren't great for the couple and the drama of the story is nowhere near finished, it jumps five years and after a page or two the book is done. It was wrapped up way too fast when I wanted much more.

So, because I really liked parts but didn't love it completely I can only give it 3*. Which honestly sucks for me bc my all time favorite trope is in this book... The naughty teacher but when its a female teacher and a male student. There are tons of male teachers so I love when its this way!

4.5 I really enjoyed this. The ending did annoy me a little, like 5 years is a BIG jump to go from them walking away from each other to then knowing absolute nothing and he just goes and finds her and it’s the end. Like I would have liked either a way smaller jump or maybe a few more chapters of what went down, then together etc. I did love this though, for such a short book it felt like I read so munch which I loved, so much happened but it didn’t fell rushed!! Romain was everything 😮‍💨 his asshole behaviour I was so here for 🙌🏽 My heart hurt for Bella so much especially when they were doing stuff to her at the beginning. I would LOVE more on these two!!!

So is started this book this morning and I finished it this evening. I was hooked from the start 😍

I loved everything about it, it’s fast paced but with so much happening. I’m in love with the 2 main characters.

The storyline is taboo with a student teacher relationship, and I love that it’s the female who is older and the teacher 🖤

Bella heads to a new school as a teacher and finds a boy gaping there as a student who she’s met previously. Due to the student/teacher dynamic things happen making the FMC be a target for the whole school to basically bully her.

This book is so well written and the bully aspect of it is amazing. Everything is described, but also secrets are hidden making you think alsorts.

The spice between these 2 is off the charts and I seriously want a Romain for myself please 🖤 he is a seriously hot specimen 🥵🥵

This is a dark MF standalone with duel POV. My only problem is I need more of these 2 🤣 I just loved everything from start to finish 🖤

I know this is freaking crazy, but this is the third MF book I have read in the last week! And it's another banger! Mallory Fox has a unique skill for writing alphaholes and this amazing book is no exception, Romain is a total dick hole and he is absolutely perfect! I love his and Arabella's story, it's so full of angst and steam. Love how this turns the Bully story right around, the FMC is the teacher and all the intricate power plays, because it would seem that in this case, the teacher is not the one with the power in the relationship! Great to see some familiar faces briefly and how it ties into Fox's Wicked Hearts at War series (another amazing series of books that blows your mind! I've read those books about three times and feel a other re read coming on.) Arabella and Romain's story is definitely one of my new faves!

Oh wow was this book so so good. This is a MF taboo story and it definitely hits those panty melting spots with the sexy af scenes Holy smokes. I absolutely loved these 2 mc's and the fact it's a teacher/student with the woman being older um yes please.
Arabella is starting her new job at an all boy prep school and has a run in with her past...Romain. This book is a hot quick read if your looking for something angsty and full of spice, because the chemistry between these 2 was next level. This boy is all kinds of spiciness. I wish I could get more of these 2. I loved them so much.

Great Book

I loved this book. The story had all the elements of a great romance, lust, love, hope, pain and forgiveness. I loved the roller coaster ride that Romain and Bella get on and through the ride finally come full circle. They find each other after loosing each other. I hope there is another book to follow. I received a free ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my review.

Sinful

Sinful is a hot, taboo, student-teacher, age-gap romance. I love that the FMC is the teacher in this, usually it's the other way around.
Bella finally reconnects with the man she has dreamed about for years after a quick affair. Only to realize he is a student at the school she has just accepted a job at.
The odds are stacked against them with rules, laws, and family in the way. But the biggest challenges to overcome will be the secrets she has kept and the lies he has told. Bella and Romain are hot 🔥 together but secrets and lies can destroy even the best of things. Definitely worth the read.

This book is intense and you will be hooked instantly. It is very dark so make sure that you actually enjoy dark and taboo if you are going to read it. Romain is scary and at times very intimidating but underneath he does have a heart. Arabella is a fighter and does not give in to easily to the harassment at the school she teaches at. The whole time you read you will be wondering what is going to happen next and will Romain succeed in breaking Arabella?

Snatching and gobbling up Mallory's books always leaves me in my happy place! The stories and characters never disappoint, and Sinful is more than worth the read! Bella and Romain (Seth's cousin from the War of Hearts series) have such an intense, almost love at first sight introduction into their relationship. It leaves them teetering off and on an angsty, obsessive, twisted roller-coaster of vulnerability throughout the book. Mallory's style of writing is top-notch as always. Sinful is such an emotive forbidden romance and I definitely recommend buying!

Student teacher bully taboo romance. They meet prior to being a teacher and then she comes back into this world. There was a two and a half gap of time and I kinda wished it was shorter personally. Rome is your typical super hot god of the school lol and can’t get this woman out of his head who then turns out to be a teacher at his school. There are twists and turns and I don’t think people will see the ending coming.

This one pulled me in from the beginning and I'm glad it did as it was a quick, fast paced read. I enjoyed the spin on this one as it was a unique perspective since Arabella is the teacher and Romain the student. It's a great read filled with angsty chemistry and you can't help but cheer them on. I was sent a complimentary copy and I am choosing to leave my honest review.

Loved it

This book was dark and twisted. Romain and Bella had intensely hot chemistry and even though she tried she couldn't keep away from him. This book checks off so many items on the taboo list and this author does it well. This is a definite must read.

Ok, the only reason I put this book down was to go to work. And I admit to begrudgingly putting down my Kindle. I struggled with a battle between being the model employee or just risk being late so I could keep reading. anyways, that's how good this book was. Absolutely hooked from the very beginning. Arabella and Romain met a couple years ago and started a whirlwind affair. Then she left. No goodbye, no word. Nothing. Two years later, she's here as a teacher at his school. And things start to happen, secrets are spilled. Absolutely phenomenal book.

This book was dark, sinful, full of emotion and all the twists and turns made it such a fun read. I loved this story and I think it is one of my favorites by this talented author. Bella and Romain had an amazing, instant attraction that turned into so much more. However, decisions were made, hearts broken and now it’s time for retribution. This story is so good, I can’t recommend it highly enough!

This was a delicious and quick age gap bully romance. I liked that in this story Arabella was the older out of the two yet somehow Romain was the one to bully her and be in the power position. Especially since Arabella is the teacher and Romain is the student. Their dynamic really jumps off of the pages and you end up rooting for these two despite the circumstances. Wonderfully sinful read!

Another amazing bully read from this author! This one has its own twist where the teacher is the one being bullied. Emotional, fast paced and full of page turning moments that will have you reading this book in one sitting. I would have loved to see more closure with the family on the end just because Bella deserves it lol but it’s a wonderful read. Highly recommend.

Bella and Romain have such a hot encounter the first time they meet but secrets keep them apart. But when they revisit, Romain's friends also cause some stress on Bella. As Bella and Romain try to get their HEA, Romain's family causes another rift. This couple had a long journey. I really want to see Romain's friends get their own story.

Um...I thought this book would be way better than what I just read.

⚠️⚠️***Spoilers so you don't waste your time reading this book if you have certain pet peeves or triggers when reading bully romances***⚠️⚠️

Here we go:

So, supposedly these two characters have a "one month stand" where they screw each other silly for a whole four weeks and then the girl just up and leaves (or sneaks away, pretty much the same thing). And that makes this teenage boy, Romain, act out like a a toddler having a tantrum. He sends his two "friends" or more like meathead goonies to start harassing and scaring this girl. She almost gets sexually assaulted and then the girl starts apologizing to Romain, because, yeah, he was the one to almost get sexually traumatized 😡. And then he says he can't look at her after she starts apologizing (like WTF 😒🤬) to him!

Before that, he invited her, or more like blackmailed her, to go to a gala party and he wanted her to wear a dog collar that would protect her at the school from everyone because she would belong to Romain and he would be claiming her for the whole school to see (WTF again 🙄😒). Because a grown ass woman who's almost 30 would want to be claimed by this 18 year old dick weed (🤣🤣).

All the while this guy is calling this girl a bitch, whore, and a slut in his head and to her, and she says nothing to stop him.

Romain is so full of shit because he fucks any girl he wants, which he does multiple times throughout the entire book pretty much, but he doesn't want Anabella to fuck anyone else besides him! Talk about a double standard everyone!!! 🤦😖😵

So, if you've made it this far, to the end of my rambling of this awful "romance" book, I wish you luck and hope you enjoy this book if you still want to read it. But I am done with this author, at least for the time being. 👋👎🙅

Sinful is the latest story from Mallory Fox, an offshoot of her Wicked Hearts series. The Montford family is back, this time focusing on Romain. This storyline includes the element of an age-gap romance, with the FMC being the older of the two, but also includes a twist with the bullied party being the teacher.

When Arabella shows up for her first day teaching in the science department of Reynard's Elite Boarding School for Boys, her new life instantly goes down the drain when she's met with a blast from her past. Romain is the guy that she ghosted several years back when her life was upended. Come to find out, he's not just anyone either. He's one of her students, a son of one of the founders, and king of the school. Romain makes a bet with several of his friends regarding who can make Arabella crack first.

This story was over quick, too quick for me. I felt like the pace was rushed and the ending was tied up too neatly for the elements introduced. I would have liked to either see it be a full-on novella with a simpler plot, or to have been fleshed out more to become a full novel. I liked the direction the character development was playing out up to the last few chapters, and now I feel like I have too many questions. I do like these characters, and I hope we get to see more, maybe a book for Zane and Carter?

Character development: 3/5
Dark elements: 4/5
Steamy scenes: 4/5
Overall storyline: 4/5
Triggers: medium - bullying, mentions of past abortion and past self-harm

Really disappointed in this one. The pacing was weird. After reading Violent Agenda I thought I was getting a strong heroine but Bella was so weak it was embarrassing. I spent most of the book in secondhand embarrassment for her. It was like her mind stopped developing past 16. Almost 30 and she's reduce to a trembling mess over anything. She refuses to stand up for herself and is bowing to her rich stepdad's threat to marry her off. Ridiculous. She runs off instead of talking to Romian after their hook up. Childish. The health issue she had made no sense since the NHS has the procedure for free so she wouldn't have needed to find a shady doctor after her mom refused to pay for it. I'm not from the UK and even I know this.

I didn't like Romain much either and found him bratty mainly. Ya'll know I love my alphaholes but Romain needed his diaper changed. Not to mention at the end the author started introducing new people like we're expected to know who they are. I checked and there's no warning about this being a spinoff of another book so I was confused a lot. Another review said it's part of the author's Wicked Hearts at War series so anyone else might want to read that first. There's a five year separation the a short epilogue where he finds her again. No resolution of their issues. Won't read the others in the series.

Romain is from Pearl and Seth’s world of Wicked Hearts at War. If you’ve read that series, you may remember Roman was the annoying cousin who kept trying to stir things up with Pearl. As Mallory promised, he got his own story and it’s even taboo as he falls for his teacher. He’s quite the troublemaker, the teacher comes into the school not knowing what’ll come of being Romain’s teacher. She is in for a ride once she meets him, he stirs up enough trouble that he begins to fall for her. Arabella’s world turns upside down once she sees how taboo her relationship with Romain was all because of age. Arabella comes to work at this school, with secrets that only Romain knows about. Romain is bound and determined to make her life hell. I really loved the tension Romain had with Arabella. I hope Mallory does more of this trope, she hit out of the park! I’m excited to see who’s next in this world.

So I have to start by saying how much I absolutely adore pretty much everything about Mallory’s writing , she is not only one of the most talented authors I have read but she is also one of my very faves . And most certainly a true queen at writing Dark Romance . With Sinful she has taken three of my top tropes to read in romance , Dark , Reverse Age Gap and Bully and entwined them in a storyline that is unforgettable and unputdownable. Arabella and Roman’s Journey is a emotional rollercoaster In every sense of the word . And I cannot forget to mention the undeniable attraction and the off the charts chemistry between them , it literally burns up the pages and keeps you on the edge of your seat In anticipation. I honestly cannot remember the last time I devoured a book In 4 hours straight. So much sleep was lost but it was totally worth it
