Remove the screws holding the back cover of the screen.

Start by prying out the back cover using a screwdriver in the holes at the bottom.

Continue along the bottom edge

Then follow by the side edges all the way to the top

The VGA connector screws shouldn't be too hard to unscrew, if you don't have the appropriate 5 mm wrench, you can use a set of pliers.

Just slide it down. No need to remove the tinfoil sticker.

If the screen is not working, you may want to look for and replace any blown capacitors.

In my case, the two 1000 uF, 16 V electrolytes at the top right were faulty.
