Callithamnion pikeanum is found from Alaska to southern California (USA).

Habitat
C. pikeanum, Beauty Bush Alga, is found on rocky substrate in the high to mid (rarely low) intertidal of exposed habitats.

Morphology and Identification
Callithamnion pikeanum has a alternately branched thallus and is reddish brown in color. Branching is alternate but can appear radial and is dense, giving the thallus a somewhat “woolly” appearance with pointed ends. This species grows to 10 cm (4 in) tall.
