PS-R Non Woven Geotextiles

PS-R (Recycled) Nonwoven GeotextilesIt is a non-woven textile product produced by needling recycled polyester-based fibers and applying heat treatment.

It is a continuous surface used to separate two different types of floors. It resists the tensile forces spread in the soil mass and acts as a reinforcement element.

Filter properties can be used for pollution purposes. While preventing the passage of solid particles, it remains sufficiently permeable to liquid and gas. It has hydraulic and mechanical level functions. It is a protective and separating layer.

PS-R Non Woven Geotextiles Application and Usage Areas

It is used between the filling layers in engineering applications, it does not allow the passage of fine particles, it is used in the following areas for filter purposes by allowing the passage of water.

  • In the French drain channel
  • Around perforated drainage pipes
  • Behind the retaining wall
  • Due to its pressure spreading effect, it is used in building foundations to protect waterproofing applications.
  • Protects geomembranes applied in open areas against tearing or damage caused by puncture and excessive friction.
  • It is used as insulation protector, water and moisture holder in green roof systems.
  • Made using recycled polyester fiber.
  • It has a structure in which a homogeneous distribution of fibers is ensured with its frequent needling and superior production technology.
  • With the possibility of production up to 6 m wide, it provides the advantage of fast application with minimum material and labor savings in large areas.
  • It is more durable than standard geotextiles due to the heat treatment applied during production.

It is used between coarse and fine filling materials in engineering applications, preventing the movement of fine particles between coarse particles with water.

It prevents the burying of coarse-grained fillings over time by laying the fine particles on the ground under the foundation, and prevents the coarse-grained material from losing its engineering feature by getting dirty with fine particles.

Materials are shipped in rolls of 2 to 6m wide and 30 to 200m long.
Materials should be stored on flat ground and indoors.
Stored products should be kept away from direct sunlight, heat and sources of ignition.
