Size Charts & How to Measure
FOR BRIDESMAID DRESSES & PROM DRESSES:Most Lanico dresses come in standard UK sizes 6-30, if you don't think our standard size suits your figure, simply use our 'Tailor Made' service. How to take your measurements? It's easier than you think! Getting started: Place the tape over your underwear, keep the tape comfortably loose, NOT too loose! Also make sure the tape is levelled from the front to the back. If you fall in between sizes, always go for the next size (if you consider ordering standard size). 1. Bust: Place the tape around the fullest part of your bust. Follow the back of your bra strap to keep the tape levelled. (Keep your arms relaxed!). Please note, bust size is not your bra size.
3. Hips: Stand with your feet together then measure around the fullest part of your hip. If you have bigger thighs than hip, simply take your thigh measurement in same way as you measure your hips, and then inform us. Please leave approximately 1-2'' additional room for sitting. Length: We break down your length measurements into 2 in order to know where your waistline is. 4. Shoulder-Waist: Measure the length from the middle of your shoulder, passing the nipple, to the waistline (Approx 1 inch above your belly button). 5. Waist-Hem: Measure from your waistline (the same place where you stopped last time) to the hem. The tape should be kept tight when following the body shape. Remember to take the measurements with the shoes you will be wearing or a similar size heels if you choose a full-length dress. 7. Shoulder Width(Optional): Measure from the back, the distance between the shoulder seams of your blouse. Usually we do not need these measurements for strapless dresses. |
