As usual with Wain (1925-1994), the dialogues (and interior monologues) are full of wit, comic spirit, and psychological insights.
Signed copies of this volume are uncommon. SCARCE SIGNED.
CONDITION: Covers slightly splayed, some foxing to fore edge and bottom edge. Internally clean and bright but with very slight crease to top corner of pages. About Very Good in a Good price-clipped dust jacket that has a couple of nicks and some soiling to the covers. Item #2524
