BEGONIA MACULATA

This Begonia Maculata is one of my most prized possessions. I acquired it when it was only a single stem potted in a 4” container.

Begonias are typically found in outdoor gardens and will make a great addition to any hanging arrangement. They prefer bright indirect light but can also grow well in shaded areas. Their bright blooms provide a beautiful pop of color which will liven up any environment 👌🏽

Here’s how I care for mine:

☀️: It sits in a sunny west facing window and receives about 6-8 hours of bright light everyday.

💦: I wait until the soil has completely dried out before giving it a good thorough watering. (I personally recommend bottom watering)

🌸: I use liquid fertilizer once a month during watering in the Spring and Summer. (Foliage Pro 9•3•6)

Once it started blooming it has continued to bloom year round 👌🏽
