Retail Is Far From Dead.. It's no secret that retail stores have been feeling the effects of online shopping and changing consumer habits over the past decade. But that doesn't mean brick-and-mortar stores can't still be successful. Take my own business, Jersey Shore Supplements, as an example. We've been able to continuously beat year over year sales and remain profitable through consistent business practices. It's really not a difficult concept.. Customers want to feel like they’re getting more than just a product when they shop with you. It’s important to set yourself apart from other stores and offer your customers personalized service that online shopping can't give them. Making every customer feel unique is the key to retail success. By taking the time to understand their individual needs, you’ll be able to suggest the best product for them and build relationships. A few simple steps to make this happen include: -Focus on QUALITY customer service -Ask open ended questions about their needs -LISTEN carefully to what they have to say -Make suggestions and offer helpful advice We live in a competitive landscape, with ever-evolving variables that can make it hard to keep up. In this fast-paced environment, the one thing that remains true is that each individual customer wants to feel seen and heard. In order to provide your customers with the best possible experience - and ensure the success of your retail business - you must find ways to make them feel understood and valued. 

10 years in. 2023 will begin my 10th year in business. After much trial and error, I’d like to share with you some company core values that have helped get me to this point. 1. Loyalty 2. Open And Honest Key Takeaways To Remember: It’s essential to be able to communicate with your team why these are important and why sticking to them is going to help them progress their careers. When correcting the individual you must ALWAYS refer back to the core values. Tie them to what the company stands for. Don’t let these be just meaningless words on the wall. From idea to the execution of this re-brand, I’m extremely proud of our team! Together we were able to put our egos aside and cooperate as a group to bring this new look to life. Struggling to get your greens in? This morning superfoods bowl will change that! INGREDIENTS: 1 large frozen banana 1/2 cup frozen pineapple 1-2 handfuls spinach 1 tbs hemp seeds 1 tbs chia seeds 1 scoop AstroFlav Berry Greens Superfood 1/4 cup orange juice (or almond milk) DIRECTIONS: Add all the ingredients into a high-speed blender or food processor and blend until smooth! Once smooth, pour into a small bowl and top with fruit of choice, chia seeds, shredded coconut, granola, chocolate chips, or any other of your favorite toppings! In a small bowl, mix together the peanut butter and protein powder until smooth. Recipe notes: *It is important to make sure your fruit is frozen so the consistency comes out thick and creamy just like ice cream! You may need to add in more liquid or a few ice cubes to get desired texture. You can make this recipe into a yummy smoothie bowl or pour into a smoothie cup and take it on the go! #healthandfitness #food
