🌙✨ 5 Lessons I Learned as HR During Ramadan ✨🌙 As Ramadan unfolds its lessons, here are five insights I've gained as an HR professional: 1. Embracing Diversity: Ramadan reminds us of the richness found in diversity. As HR, I've learned to celebrate the varied backgrounds and traditions within our team, fostering a more inclusive workplace culture. 2. Flexibility is Key: Supporting employees observing Ramadan has taught me the importance of flexibility. By offering adaptable work arrangements, we accommodate their needs while maintaining productivity and morale. 3. Cultivating Empathy: This month highlights the significance of empathy. As HR, I've learned to listen more attentively to employees' needs and challenges, striving to provide understanding and support where needed. 4. Strengthening Team Bonds: Ramadan emphasizes communal values, prompting us to foster stronger bonds among colleagues. Through inclusive activities and shared experiences, we've strengthened our team spirit and cohesion. 5. Prioritizing Well-being: Above all, Ramadan underscores the importance of holistic well-being. As HR, I've made it a priority to promote work-life balance, mental health support, and self-care initiatives, ensuring our team thrives both personally and professionally. Incorporating these lessons into our HR practices not only enhances our workplace culture but also fosters a more supportive and resilient team. Here's to continuous learning and growth, inspired by the spirit of Ramadan. 🌟 #RamadanReflections #HRInsights #Diversity #Flexibility #Empathy #TeamBuilding #WellbeingPriorities

#Preparation for a new Book - "Pathways to Asian Corporate Evolution" #Organization Development - Regionally-driven by HRD & HCD #MainTopic:"Good Boss, Bad Boss"; Motivated by Indian Experiment #Related topics: Lessons from the very 1st overseas assignment in JKT #Opinions & Suggestions are welcomed, esp. from MC Regional HR Network "Incident No.3-[3-4-4-1]: Valuable Lessons from Indonesian Managers & Staff #Demonstration of Bilingual Competence - English version Part 1 Indonesia: Episode 2 (2) Holding the Regional HR Conference {Fortune of being "forced" by the head office in 1995} The aforementioned ASEAN Management Seminar was first held in 1992, followed by a second seminar in Jakarta in 1993, then Manila, Singapore, and other ASEAN countries in turn, and became the source of subsequent regional HRD. This was originally the personal vision of Mr. Ueda, General Manager of the Thai MC, but it has evolved each year through deep collaboration between the general affairs and HR representative in each country and the NS HR managers and staff, making full use of various resources such as prominent universities in each country, and making the most of each country's unique characteristics. The party on the last day of the event also became more culturally unique and enjoyable for everyone. Although the Human Resources Department at the headquarters knew only a small part of this evolution, the autonomous development of these regional policies would later become a great wave of activity that developed as part of the global network at the headquarters, and a multitude of flowers and flowers would bloom. In the midst of this movement, the head office announced a measure that would become the starting point of MC's "cross-regional movement. This was the plan of Mr. Ueda, who had already returned to the Human Resources Department from MC Thailand. As with the establishment of the ASEAN Management Seminar, he came up with one plan after another to enhance the mobility of organizational reform, especially in relation to overseas offices, and made sure that they were put into action. Later, as head of the Global Human Resources Development Office, Mr. Ueda provided me with tremendous training and opportunities for personal development, but it was also Mr. Ueda who gave me my second "shocking experience" in the 1990s. Even now, I cannot express my gratitude enough for his foresight and future-oriented actions. Until the ASEAN Management Seminar in 1992, there had been no horizontal cooperation in the Asian region. In particular, the human resources and general affairs departments were busy taking care of the office in question, its consolidated subsidiaries, and affiliated companies in that country, and generally the core of the relationship was one-on-one between the office in question and the human resources department at the headquarters.
