This is based on the work of Professor Salvador Ventura, who leads the Protein Folding and Conformational Disordersโ group at the IBB UAB. His team investigates protein structure, function and aggregation, with a focus on neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinsonโs. In the future UAB and OT will jointly further develop candidate molecules which have been initially developed in the Ventura lab.
