The 2023 WEAO Conference has concluded, and I am very grateful to have received two (2) Service Awards for my roles as Young Professional Committee Chair and WEAO Board YP Representative. These volunteer opportunities were such an amazing experience and I was able to connect with so many leaders of the water/wastewater industry. Last week was my first time attending and presenting in-person at OWWA. It was great to transition all those virtual relationships from the past few years into in-person connections. Thank you to the Region of Waterloo for the opportunity to present on one of my projects for the Automation technical session. C3 Water held our annual Darts for Water for People tournament, raising over $1200! Looking forward to more conferences and industry events with the team this year.
