Will 'awareness' appeal where 'weariness' has taken over?

Very similar sounding yet quite dramatically opposite words, are n't they? 'Awareness' versus 'Weariness'.

Picture is worth thousand words, I don't have to expand on word as image enclosed should convey the idea. Dictionary refers to 'weariness' as "extreme fatigue" and "tiredness".

I am not merely referring to the physical aspect of it, but the mental and emotional aspect of it can be highly consuming and draining.

Just now it occurred to me that my focus on 'Awareness' or increased awareness is perhaps not cutting ice particularly where 'Weariness' has taken over - it is akin to falling on deaf ears.

May be some of you have similar experience with some people, where you are not quite able to get them to appreciate a particular point of view, because another point of view has completely tired the other person out!

As Charles Dickens has said famously "We are in best of times, we are in worst of times"! Doesn't it ring a bell for the current times you and I are in?

Thank you
