Rise Up: Soar High Above Everything

Rise Up: Soar High Above Everything

We have often heard of the terms “comfort zone” and “non-comfort zone” but how about reaching at a stage which is beyond any comfort or discomfort. Our tendency to feel secure or insecure /scared or bold takes us through different rides of peaks and troughs often. The question here is that do we ever think to come out of this maze where we get lost frequently and then try to find a way out and this process keeps repeating since we have become so dependent on our life situations to feel good or bad. What if we try to reduce and with persistent practice eliminate the dependency on our life situations to be happy and at peace?

I understand that its easier said than done however, let’s try to break the shackles of fear, disappointments, failures, worries or doubts and rise above all these heavy weights holding us back and blocking our vision to rise above all.  There is a way to do it but always remember that any method can be successful only when it is followed with an earnest burning desire and unshakable faith. As William Wordsworth righteously wrote “Wisdom is oftentimes nearer when we stoop than when we soar.” So if you have a relentless desire and entrenched faith in God, self-faith or faith in your support system which may be your partner, family, friends, team etc.; then be a resilient, a perseverant, invincible, and a free spirit by following these 3 simple steps: Identify, eliminate and replace.

  •  Identify the negative feeling– It may be fear, failure or disappointment etc.
  • Eliminate these negative emotions reminding yourself that they are like termite eroding your positivity rapidly, hence no point in nurturing them in your heart and mind.
  • Replace- Even if you become successful in eliminating the negative emotions, do not leave any void else they will find the place to creep again, fill yourself with exactly opposite thought so if it is fear replace it with courage (with whatever is your strength), if it is a failure (take it as a lesson and move on aiming for a better way of success).

Continue to practice these 3 steps until you reach at a stage where nothing can dare to knock you down, a state where you have risen above all and become a free spirit soaring high & happy unaffected by any situation. Let me conclude with a simple but undoubtedly inspiring lines of Dale Carnegie “life is beautiful…stop worrying & start living”.
