Thank you for purchasing this PIONEER product To ensure proper use, please read through this manual before using this product. It is especially important that you read and observe WARNINGs and CAUTIONs in this manual.

    *2 This operation is referred to as “Turn the M.C. dial” in this manual. Basic operation Display indication Indication Description DEH-X8700DAB/DEH-X8700BT Appears when the tag function is available. While storing the tag M.C.     DAB Antenna Supply power to a DAB antenna. Select this when using the Power (only for optional DAB antenna (AN-DAB1, sold separately) with the unit. DEH-X8700DAB) [ON], [OFF] No power is supplied to a DAB antenna. Select this when using a passive antenna with no booster.
  • Page 6: Digital Audio Broadcasting (Dab)

    To receive DAB signals, connect a DAB antenna (AN-DAB1) (sold separately) to the unit. Press the M.C. dial to display the main menu. (Only for DEH-X8700DAB) Turn the M.C. dial to select [SETUP], then press to confirm. Turn the M.C. dial to select an option, then press to confirm.

    To receive stored service components The LEVER can also be used to select a preset station when [Tuning Mode] is set to [Preset] in FUNCTION settings (page 14). Select a preset channel from [PCH LIST] (page 6), then press the M.C. dial. Best stations memory (BSM) Pause/Time shift functions The six strongest stations are stored on the preset channels.

    NOTE Press and hold the M.C. dial to store. Use a Pioneer USB cable to connect the USB storage device to the unit. Turn LEVER to select the preset number you want to recall. Before removing the device, stop playback.
