KEALAKEKUA ZOANTHID

Locally common on basalt ledges near the waterline.  Low, tightly packed polyps forming extensive mats, 5mm disc fluorescent green, unmarked column gray-brown.  Attains diameter of 0.5 inch.  Avoid contact since it may contain deadly Palytoxin.  Endemic to Hawaii.
