What an extraordinary novel! Lanny is the story of a small village in modern day England and the people, and spirits, who reside there. It's about imagination, friendship, childhood and love. Max Porter's lyrical prose plays with a cacophony of voices, and at times reminded me of Dylan Thomas. A unique and very moving read. ⠀
