An unusual feature of this row is that for the first part it is a single row of reasonably sized stones, and after 60 metres it changes into a double row, made from smaller stones. There is no obvious uphill end to the row; the stones just get smaller or further buried until no more can be seen.
The cairn at the lower end is fairly small and insignificant, although the remains of what was once possibly a ring of slabs can be seen. Near to this cairn are several other cairns, which are in much better condition.
The row runs at an azimuth of 220-degrees up a steepish slope.
Update October 2019: This stone row is featured on the Prehistoric Dartmoor Walks (PDW) website - see their entries for the Glasscombe Corner Stone Row and The stone rows of Butterdon Hill, Piles Hill & Glasscombe. PDW tells us this is: "A stone row partly double and partly single ending on the remains of a cairn circle. The length of the double row is 111.0m. and of the single row 61.0m, the total length to the centre of the cairn circle being 177.0m".
The row is also recorded as Pastscape Monument No. 441916 and as MDV5661 (Stone row south-west of Glasscombe Corner) on the Devon and Dartmoor HER. The row is also scheduled as Historic England List ID 1012476 (Stone alignment and terminal cairns south-west of Glasscombe Corner).
The row is also included in the Stone Rows of Great Britain website - see their entry for Glasscombe Corner, which includes a description, photographs of the alignment and individual stones, a plan of the row with its associated cairns, access information plus links to other online resources for more information. The SRoGB also includes a section for 'Landscape Comments' which discusses and illustrates the sea views from the row which are restricted by the surrounding hills.
