Name:
In honor of Tat’yana Alexandrovna Burova (Татьяна Александровна Бурова) (1896–1975), a highly skilled chemist, who was among the first to examine many complex minerals of the Khibiny, Lovozero, and Vishnevye gory plutons, including the labuntsovite-group minerals. The suffix/modifier follows the naming convention for labunsovite supergroup minerals, denoting a predominance of calcium in the framework D-site.

General Appearance of Type Material:
Extended prismatic crystals 1–8 mm long. The crystals are pseudorhombic due to multiple twinning. Prismatic crystals occur as radiaxial aggregates and parallel intergrowths with orange-red labuntsovite-Mn.
