Spinel

Item Description

Very hard to find, this is an outstanding cluster of sharp Spinel octahedrons from Katukubura. The octahedrons are razor sharp, lustrous, and black. In fact, they are so good they almost look like they were cast. The Spinels range up to 8 mm, but average closer to 4 mm. These are often referred top as "Ceylonite'. I have not seen a cluster of opaque Spinels this fine, or as aesthetic.
