Wolverhampton Wanderers have been linked with a move for Burnley star Josh Brownhill.

TEAMtalk claimed last weekend that Wolves were one of a few teams to have scouted the 25-year-old in recent weeks.

The ace joined the Clarets in January 2020, and has really impressed at Turf Moor since his arrival.

He’s now a regular pick for Sean Dyche in the midfield.

Brownhill has certainly looked great value following his transfer from Bristol City, which BBC Sport report to have cost Burnley about £9 million.

Yesterday, Brownhill took to the pitch for the first time since being linked to Wolves.

He featured against Everton, and put in an excellent display at Goodison Park.

His display led to Jermaine Jenas to call him and Ashley Westwood ‘brilliant’ for Burnley on Match of the Day (13/03).

Unfortunately, any Wolves move for Brownhill this summer may not be too likely, with Lancashire Live claiming the player is happy where he is.
