AVHRR Radiances - NASA CDR

Configuration ID: 01B-30a

The Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) Radiances - NASA Climate Data Record (CDR) provides long term datasets for multiple radiance and reflective properties. AVHRR visible gains and offsets, which convert global area coverage (GAC) pixel level counts to radiance values, are provided for each visible band for the following satellites: TIROS-N, NOAA-6 through NOAA-19 and MeTop-A and B platforms. The data record extends from 1978– 2016 with twice daily temporal resolution between 55°N–55°S, with the potential for increased temporal resolution in polar regions.
