Jimmy Nardello Sweet (Non Bell) Type Pepper Seeds

Although this pepper may look like a hot pepper, it’s one of the sweetest and tastiest frying-type peppers you can grow! It was originally brought from Italy by the Nardello family to Connecticut in the late 1880’s. The 5” long narrow fruit ripens to deep red that wrinkles and twists. 30” plants are stocky with good leaf cover. Fresh, dried, pickled, charred or fried, these peppers will become a staple in your garden! Suitable for containers. 80 days from transplant.

Start early indoors and transplant well after last frost. Grow seedlings at 62°F night temperature and 70°F day temperature. Lower temperatures permanently reduce plant productivity.
