What To Expect When You Book Nicole Mondestin Photography- NYC Black Female Photographer

Nicole Mondestin Photography Black Female Photographer

Well hello there!

Thank you for stopping by my little corner of the internet! My name is Nicole Mondestin. As a photographer in NYC. I love to make the city backdrop for most of my shoots. As your photographer I like to take the things that you love and blending it with my style creating images that inspire, empower and celebrate you! As your photographer know that I have your best interest at hand whether I’m photographing portraits, business branding images or a wedding. I want you to look beautiful and the best possible version of you. I want your images to be fire! However, please understand that I’m not in the business of making plastic people. Yes, I edit all of my images but they are not extremely edited. If you are a size six, twelve, and etc . I/m not going to make you look like a size 0. I’m all about celebrating and uplifting my clients. Yes, I can remove a fupa (if you don’t know what that is google it. Just don’t google it on a work computer) accentuate a curve, remove acne, edit out tattoos, and etc. But the end result will be that you will look like a fabulous version of you. The thing I hate most is looking a photo of someone and squinting because I don’t recognize them.

My favorite shades. I had a baby. Baby got his hands on my shades… RIP shades.

When you book Nicole Mondestin Photography expect an awesome experience with fire images but we are also going to work. Thats right it takes effort from you my client as well. After you have paid the non-refundable retainer. I can book the makeup artist, and set up a pre shoot consultation. During our phone call we will talk about your interests, the reason for the shoot and your vision for the shoot. I will create a mood board based of what we discussed. I will send you a link to review and setup virtual meeting (yes, another call/meeting ) part of my creative process is making a connection with my clients so that they are at ease before they step in front of my camera. Often times when the client and photographer do not have a connection the client steps in front of the camera like a deer in headlights. And that just isn’t right! LOL. So to avoid that I want to get to know my clients the best I can. During our call we will discuss location, makeup, hair, wardrobe, poses and more.

What happens if the weather is not cooperating the day of my shoot? The one thing that I cannot control is Mother Nature. If the weather is not cooperating the day of your shoot. We will reschedule unless you are visiting from out of town ( then we will have to move it to an indoor location). The reason why I suggest rescheduling is because often times scouting a new location last minute is not the best. I’m just being honest the light in certain places is different at different times of the day. Some indoor locations require a permit for shooting on their premises and most light modifiers are not permitted. Which means that if the location has crappy light then the light in your photos will be crappy and we cannot have that.

After we rock your session I will schedule a private gallery reveal/ordering session within 2-3 weeks. The gallery reveal/ordering session can be done in person or virtually whichever is easiest for you. During the reveal your wonderful images will be presented to you. It’s during this time that you select your images for prints, albums and etc. If you have a particular wall in your home that you are planning on displaying your photos, through the magic of technology I can show you exactly what the images will look like displayed in your home. As always I will be on hand to answer any questions that you may have. My main goal is to provide my clients with an awesome experience as well as banging images. If you want to check out what my client have to say click here  https://www.nicolemondestinphotography.com/reviews to see all the rave reviews.
