Describe a typical (or not so typical) day-in-the-work-life for you?
Every day is totally different. I could be researching for an article, having a meeting with a brand helping them craft accurate messaging, developing a recipe, or interviewing somebody for a piece I am authoring. Every day is 100% bonkers because I have a lot of balls in the air.

How did you get your current job in dietetics?
I created it.

What skills were you born with and what skills have you learned along the way?
I am naturally a hard worker and am very reliable. Due dates and deadlines are always met, no matter what. I am also very good at understanding how to interpret data and I can tell the difference between “fluffy” studies and well-designed clinical data.

I had to learn how to sell, how to write, and how to manage a business.

Thankfully, before I started my business, I worked as a medical sales representative and had many years of sales training. I hired a writing coach, and got myself a business mentor.

What advice do you have for others wanting to be just as successful and fulfilled as you?
Hustle and learn along the way. Make your own mistakes and take them as teachable moments. Be kind to others and support people in your network.

If you could be paid for your job with something other than a paycheck, what
would it be?
Live-in cook and housekeeping services.
