Philinopsis taronga

Philinopsis taronga belongs to the family Aglajidae.The family Aglajidae includes elongate sea snails with a small internal shell. Most of them are nocturnal.

This sea slug is a predator,feeds on polychaete worms, flatworms and other opisthobranchs. The body is brown or blackish with scattered translucent whitish spots. There is considerable variation in colour pattern
