Diplosoma spongiforme (Giard, 1872)

Diplosoma spongiforme is an encrusting colonial ascidian which can cover rock surfaces and other hard surfaces of 20 to 30 cm.It is a sponge-like ascidian.The Jelly-Synascidian is white translucent and gelatinous.
