Aegires flores Fahey & Gosliner, 2004

This nudibranch have a very variable colour pattern.A very distinctive feature of Aegires flores is a large Stonehenge-like ring of tubercles around the gills ( Have a look please at the Link "sea slug forum").

All Aegires species feeds exclusively on calcareous sponges.
