Hypselodoris pulchella (Rüppell & Leuckart, 1830)
The mantle edge of this colourfull sea slug is thin bluish. Mantle and foot are creamy white with numerous small yellowish-orange spots of different sizes.On the mantle is always a diffuse pattern of a pale violet-brown. The sensory tentacles are bluish and the gills vary from bluish to orange.Its often seen that two individuals following closely each other.
Hypselodoris pulchella feeds exclusively on sponges.
Very similar is Hypselodoris ghardaqana (the diffuse pattern of pale violet-brown is absent).
