Phyllidiopsis sphingis Brunckhorst, 1993

The body colour is white with a black stripes and a U-shape band.On the borad mantle margin is a iridescent blue coloration.Rhinophores are cream to pale yellow , gills are dark grey.

Phyllidiopsis sphingis feeds on sponges, probably on yellow axinellid sponges.

Very similar are Phyllidiopsis striata and Phyllidiopsis annae (differ in body colour and the colour of the rhinophores).
