The two candidates seeking the Democratic nod in the state’s gubernatorial primary both stopped in Greenville over the weekend and touted how they could beat Republican Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson in the 2024 race for governor.

Retired Associate Supreme Court Justice Mike Morgan and Attorney General Josh Stein said the GOP is sure to pick Robinson as its candidate to run for governor in the March 5, 2024, primary even though there are four other announced GOP candidates.
