Where to get your hot dog fix on the Strip in Las Vegas — PHOTOS

While the hot, dog days of summer are coming to an end, there’s never an end to delicious hot dogs.

Haute Doggery at the Linq, 3545 Las Vegas Blvd. South, No. L-30, serves a variety of specialty hot dogs, burgers and fries.

The restaurant is owned by Block 16 Hospitality, a local-based hospitality group operated by entrepreneurs Billy Richardson and Anthony Meidenbauer. The group also owns Holsteins Shake and Buns, Public House, Flour & Barley, The Barrymore, Pink’s Hot Dogs at Planet Hollywood, The Blind Pig and Urth Natural Foods.

Using fresh ingredients, Haute Doggery offers tastes of home to those visiting from out of state. Retro dogs include the Windy City (steamed hot dog, relish, tomato, onion, pickles, pepper and mustard), Seattle Dog (chargrilled hot dog, cream cheese, sauerkraut, grilled onion, and jalapeno and chili aioli) and Detroit Coney Classic (grilled hot dog, chili, onions, mustard and cheese).

If you’re feeling a bit fancy, specialty “haute” dogs are available, such as the El Machete (chargrilled hot dog, roasted green chilies, borracho onions, pepper jack cheese, tomatoes and spice machete sauce); Fun-Ghi (chargrilled hot dog, mushrooms, onion, gruyere cheese and truffle mayo); and Billionaire Dog (grilled Kobe beef hot dog, foi gras torchon, port onion marmalade and truffle mayo).

In addition, the eatery attempts to bring back “Old Vegas” with their version of a $1 shrimp cocktail. The catch? You must purchase a hot dog or burger, which range from $4.49 to $11.49.

While Haute Doggery appeals to Strip tourists at Strip prices, it’s definitely worth a walk over if you’re in the area.

Haute Doggery is open from 10 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Visit hautedoggerylv.com or call 702-430-4435.
