This is green and red Jasper also known as Fancy Jasper from India. This material leans towards greens but will include some red, possibly some other colors all known as Fancy Jaspers. It will work for tumbling, cabochons or as a nice rock specimen. This material will range in size from approximately 2.5″(Large tumble size) to Fist size.(Good size for cabbing or cutting)
For size reference a fist size piece will weigh approximately 1 pound.

Jasper, or spotted stone, is an opaque, impure variety of Quartz that is usually red, yellow or brown in color. Some Jaspers simultaneously exhibit several variants such as banding, flow patterns, dendrites or color variations. This results in what appears to be scenes or images in a cut section of the Jasper.
