Disillusioned at the thought of taking down another "mark," depressed, low-level hit man Barry Berkman seeks a way out. When the Midwesterner reluctantly travels to Los Angeles to execute a hit on an actor who is bedding a mobster's wife, little does Barry know that the City of Angels may be his sanctuary. He follows his target into acting class and ends up instantly drawn to the community of eager hopefuls, especially dedicated student Sally, who becomes the object of his affection. While Barry wants to start a new life as an actor, his handler, Fuches, has other ideas, and the hit man's criminal past won't let him walk away so easily.

Nerve-wracking and resolute storytelling backed up by gritty atmospherics and astounding performances, Barry season 3 is the show at its most nuanced, mature and reflective, even though some things doesn't have the weight or enlivenment as it should.

Another perfect and darkly funny season! Season 3 shows a shift on how to present Barry's character, this time Barry is less of a good guy. You can feel that the show doesn't want to make Barry too relatable anymore as they need to condemn him at one point for his criminal side. Other characters also see a big jump in their development which really helps this season to feel fresh and as good as ever. What maybe makes this season the best and how tight the script is, at this point any event will change the course of the story, and you can feel the tension increasing at every episode, until a pretty strong finale.
