Premium fukamushi green tea bags
Premium green tea bags from Chiran tea fields in Kagoshima Prefecture.
Fukamushicha is made of high-quality green tea leaves exposed to direct sunlight. After the harvest, the tea is steamed longer, which results in fine leaves, more tea dust, rich umami, and a relatively high caffeine level. Compared to regular green teas, fukamushicha can go more steeps.
This tea is also great prepared with cold water as a mizudashi.
