Punk and Antics with Lowcocks, Amino Acids, Frank White and the Cult of Spaceskull

There was a lot going down Friday night at the Loving Touch. The Lowcocks celebrated their new record release with a show that in mild terms had a bit of everything. The Amino Acids opened the show with their instrumental punk and wacky, subgenius grooves. Audience participation was not only encouraged it was mandatory as Amino Acids jumped off stage and danced around the crowd. In between acts, circus performers thrilled but mostly grossed out the crowd. Frank White, a local punk band that did a great job shifting around vocals to very rowdy punk anthems. The Lowcocks kept up the rowdy and added searing female vocals with some angst and fun. Closing out the show was complete havoc on display with the Cult of SpaceSkull and their lunatic band of characters. Their set tonight was performance art set to noise punk and lots of blood, massive amounts of blood. This was one of the nights you hear described in documentaries on the craziness of the scene and you think it couldn't be all that but for those that were there, it really was.
