Manu Ginobili's Post On X During Thunder-Spurs Game
On Wednesday evening, the San Antonio Spurs hosted the Oklahoma City Thunder in Texas.
Basketball Hall of Famer (and Spurs legend) Manu Ginobili was in attendance, and during the game, he made a post on X with a photo.
Ginobili captioned his photo: "Can't believe I used to play at 8.45p! đź‘´ "
The Spurs lost the game by a score of 140-114, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 32 points, six rebounds, ten assists, two steals and one block while shooting 9/15 from the field and 2/2 from the three-point range.
With the loss, the Spurs fell to 8-36 in their first 44 games, which has them as the 15th seed in the Western Conference.
They are 3-7 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a two-game losing streak.
Following the Thunder, the Spurs will remain in San Antonio to host Anfernee Simons and the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday evening.
As for Ginobili, he was the 57th pick in the 1999 NBA Draft and spent his entire 16-year career with San Antonio.
He is one of the best players to ever play for the franchise and helped lead the team to four NBA Championships.
The 2008 6th Man of The Year had career averages of 13.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 44.7% from the field and 36.9% from the three-point range in 1,057 regular season games.
He is 46 years old and retired after the 2017-18 NBA season.
