Comparative degree (denotes a higher degree) to compare two more things, when we compare two persons or two things with each other, we use both the Comparative degree. Examples: 1. He is taller than me 2. This task is easier than the previous one. 3. My sister is more beautiful than Linda

Superlative degree (denotes the highest degree) when we compare more than two persons or things with one another, we use all the three Positive, Comparative and Superlative degrees.
